- ➤ Todd Mission City Council is converting the old mission building into a food pantry to support residents facing hunger in the community, with full operations expected in 2026. Mayor Stephen Mensing and local leaders say the phased approach helps those with limited transportation+ strong community support has emerged. KXXV
- ➤ Local group D&S Cuddling Critters will host its final Market with a Mission event in 2025 to feed over 1,600 families by partnering with Central, and no ID or paperwork is needed. Killeen Daily Herald

- ➤ Temple Education Foundation announced the Glenn A. Johnson Scholarship (supporting Temple High School graduates pursuing higher education at Temple College) to help local students plan their next steps. Killeen Daily Herald

- ➤ TxDOT is closing FM 2268 east of Holland today for road repairs. Drivers are advised to use detours (Round Hall Road, Link Road, and Donahoe Road) and allow extra travel time for safety. KCEN-TV
