- ➤ Temple officials revealed a plan to update the Oak Hills neighborhood. A burial for an unaccompanied veteran is scheduled for tomorrow while a local tennis group gathers donations for student athletes and credit unions donate to a children’s hospital. Temple Daily Telegram
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Rowan donated $15,000 plus built a greenhouse with Digital Infrastructure volunteers for Temple-based Cultivate Academy-CTX Microschool of Urban Agriculture, which will support youth education programming. Temple Daily Telegram
- ➤ Temple ISD officials emailed parents Monday to share plans for a 2025 bond proposition (focusing on school improvements) as students began their final week before Christmas break. Temple Daily Telegram
- ➤ Additional funding by the Texas legislature will expand career and technical education training programs in public schools, including those in Temple. Local educators expect these changes to offer students more practical learning opportunities. Killeen Daily Herald
