- ➤ Chris Landry from A&M Central Texas has been chosen as the university’s first cadet for a National War College internship. The former combat medic—ranked 10th among 5,538 nationwide—will start a six-month stint in Washington, D.C. after completing his bachelor’s requirements. KCEN-TV
- ➤ Temple ISD Board of Trustees approved the first step of a $122.45 million bond project + additional remodeling plans after voters backed the measure last month. The move will pave the way for school improvements across the district. Killeen Daily Herald
