- ➤ On Thanksgiving, Harker Heights fire department and the local Lions Club will deliver gifts to families who might otherwise miss holiday support—continuing a long-standing tradition to bring cheer and help those in need. Killeen Daily Herald
- ➤ In Temple, Feed My Sheep Temple will serve a Thanksgiving meal on November 27 to 600-700 people at 116 W. Avenue G — FTL Church will offer hot meals from 10-11 a.m. at 820 South 21st St., and Wes’s Burger Shack will host its annual meal at 1 p.m. at 1301 S. 1st St. KCEN-TV

- ➤ Temple ISD officials are planning a bond proposition for 2025 that will let some school projects start soon—officials said work on projects using a different funding method will not begin until at least one year later. Temple Daily Telegram
