- ➤ Fort Hood held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Santa’s Workshop on Thursday—volunteers and donors toured the space to learn how the program will support local military families this holiday season. Killeen Daily Herald
- ➤ Destiny’s World Outreach Center in Killeen will host its annual Feed the 5000 event this Saturday as thousands of residents are expected to receive free meals + organizers say the community event is one of the largest hosted by the church. Killeen Daily Herald
- ➤ Texas A&M University Central Texas psychology students are running the 'Fill the Crib' donation drive to help foster children in Bell County—students work with the Bell County Welfare Board to collect wipes, diapers, food, formula and toys until December 1st. Donations can be dropped off at Rainbow Rooms in Killeen and Temple. KCEN-TV
- ➤ Volunteers and community members will gather on Saturday at the Friends of Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery to prepare over 17,500 wreaths for the 18th annual tribute to resting veterans—an effort to honor their service. Killeen Daily Herald
