  • Leia and Michael Alexander opened Dirty Pop — a family-owned mobile soda trailer serving creative dirty sodas with flavor syrups, cream, and cold foam in Central Texas. They plan to grow the business into a brick-and-mortar shop or add more trailers as local support increases.  KCEN-TV

  • Whitney defeated West 41-28 Friday night—clinching the district championship and playoff spot—and built momentum with key plays from star Kobe Haynes, who returned a kickoff for a touchdown.  KCEN-TV
  • UMHB upset No. 5 Hardin-Simmons 21-17 in Belton on Saturday afternoon, handing the Cowboys their first loss of the season. The team built its win with strong fourth-quarter plays and key defensive stops—sealing the comeback.  KCEN-TV
