- ➤ The annual Rucks on Main march will take place on Nov. 8 in downtown Temple and will unite veterans, active duty members and civilians to honor veterans' sacrifice and celebrate freedom. - ➤ Two local students from Temple and Belton earned $1,500 each at an award ceremony—organized by the Temple Chamber of Commerce Military and First Responder Salute to Service—where they received the first American Legion Leadership Excellence Scholarship. Temple Daily Telegram
- ➤ Temple High School and Temple College are partnering to host a series of Free Application for Federal Student Aid informational nights over the next two weeks to help local families secure college funds.
