Good morning, Temple.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with its 10th Annual Latino Fest today from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. — the festival will feature a concert that highlights Hispanic culture.

Temple’s trash trucks did not pick up solid waste for more than a week in some parts of the city—worrying businesses, schools and residents.

City officials said they are investigating the delay to restore regular service.

Temple City Council approved a conditional use permit for a new substance abuse treatment facility across from a former hemp dispensary & further discussion on the project will be held soon.
