Good morning, Temple.

Belton ISD art teachers will display art in a new exhibit at Temple Cultural Activities Center starting in September—an opening reception is set for Friday, Sept 12 from 5–7 p.m. The exhibit features painting, collage, and mixed media from educators across all school levels and will offer pieces for sale with proceeds shared between the artists and the center.

Parker McCollum, a musician with Temple ties, will perform at the upcoming Tanglefoot Music and BBQ Festival—he discussed plans to grow his career and connect with local fans.

His remarks point to a fresh direction in his music and a commitment to his roots.
