🎓 Education
Temple ISD awarded an additional $2.1 million to 163 teachers during the first full week of school — funds from the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment boosted their earnings as classes resumed.
Central Texas College welcomed Texas Higher Education Commissioner Wynn Rosser (as part of a statewide initiative to strengthen partnerships with colleges and universities and better understand regional workforce needs) on campus.
The Killeen ISD board will vote at today's board meeting on the proposed tax rate and budget for the 2027 fiscal year - the decision is expected to impact local policies.
