- ➤ A burglary occurred on August 19 at Temple Feed & Supply when a suspect broke in and vandalized the business, and the owner has asked locals to help the police identify the individual who may be linked to other thefts — officials expect to release more video footage soon. KCEN-TV
- ➤ The Killeen Police arrested a 16-year-old suspect on July 21 after U.S. Marshals located him hiding in Chicago for charges in the April murder of 21-year-old Kaisen Amere Simmons—he has been extradited back to Texas and now awaits trial. KXXV
