Good morning, Temple.

Temple ISD administrators awarded $503,822 in checks to 41 teachers on Monday as they marked the last day before school, recognizing their hard work and setting a positive tone for the new school year—this gesture honors their dedication.

The awards underline a commitment to quality education and support for staff achievements.

Harker Heights City Council will meet in a special session today to discuss and likely approve the preliminary property tax rate—this decision will affect local fiscal planning.
