ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Texas DPS is investigating a fatal crash in Salado that closed both northbound and southbound lanes of I-35 this morning where north traffic is diverted at exit 286 and south traffic exits at FM 2484 — drivers are advised to take alternate routes as delays are expected. KXXV

- ➤ Temple entrepreneurs are taking part in the Launch Temple program to learn business skills and start new ventures. One participant, Sandra Escalante (a former fashion designer), is launching a unique business that dresses hot dogs. Temple Daily Telegram
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday afternoon, Bell County Comic Con held its final day in Belton at Cadence Bank Center, where celebrities and vendors drew crowds in Hall B—though the turnout was slightly lower than earlier events. Killeen Daily Herald
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Texas Department of Transportation announced that $96 million in state and federal funds will be used to maintain and enhance transit systems in both rural and urban areas, including Temple. The funds will support 64 transit agencies — helping provide safe travel options for work, school and essential errands. KCEN-TV

- ➤ Midway's 12U baseball team ended its season Sunday afternoon in the Little League Southwestern Region tournament when Oklahoma won 12—9 in extra innings; the team had a 4—1 lead until Oklahoma scored eight runs in the eighth inning. KCEN-TV
