- ➤ FFA chapters across Central Texas are leading a flood relief drive today to support communities hit by recent deadly floods. Organizers collected thousands in donations and essential supplies (water, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products) to help neighborhoods recover after over 100 Texans lost their lives. KXXV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ O and B Water Supply Corporation in Temple issued a boil water notice (effective immediately) and Temple College officials will hold a special board meeting (to secure purchases) to plan key steps. Killeen Daily Herald
- ➤ Temple Fire & Rescue shut down Fire Station #2 after finding mold and is moving firefighters to Station #1 while a contractor works to fix the problem—officials say the station will reopen when repairs are complete. Killeen Daily Herald
