CRIME NEWS

  • Austin Grisham, 45, was arrested Tuesday by the Bell County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly peering into home windows at night and now faces criminal trespassing charges with a $10,000 bond and a 24-hour GPS ankle monitor—he has a long history of similar offenses including a prior incident in Temple.  KCEN-TV
  • Residents in West Temple were awoken by police after four masked teenagers allegedly attempted to burglarize property in the Westwood neighborhood overnight Tuesday.  Temple Daily Telegram

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Temple ISD reported that graduation rates reached 96.9%—the highest in over a decade. Officials said the press release highlights strong student performance across local schools.  Killeen Daily Herald
