- ➤ After an inmate escaped Bell County Jail on Friday, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office suspended two officers — the inmate was later arrested. Killeen Daily Herald

- ➤ A Temple high school graduate received a car through the Temple Education Foundation scholarship—officials said the award recognizes academic achievement and supports future education plans. Temple Daily Telegram
- ➤ Temple ISD announced that Tiffany Vestal will serve as the next principal of Thornton Elementary — she will lead the school in working with staff, students, and families. Temple Daily Telegram
