➤ Local businesses, community leaders, and golfers participated in the annual charity golf tournament hosted by the Killeen Heights Rotary Club today (raising funds for local service projects). Killeen Daily Herald

CULTURE NEWS

➤ Temple will host a four-night Santa Fe Summer Music Series this summer with live music, food vendors, and family activities held on Fridays at Santa Fe Plaza — offering a festive atmosphere for locals and visitors. Temple Daily Telegram

➤ Salado High School students earned third place at the UIL State Academic Meet & each of the 13 competitors received at least one medal. Temple Daily Telegram
➤ Temple Public Library will host its Summer Reading Program kickoff party on Jun. 6 from 9 to 11 a.m. where families can enjoy games, prizes, and hands-on activities. Killeen Daily Herald
