ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Temple Fire & Rescue is battling a large fire in the 700 block of Industrial Boulevard near downtown Temple and has shut down Industrial Boulevard at 3rd and Industrial at 15th as police assist crews working to control the blaze. KCEN-TV

- ➤ Four Central Texas barbecue joints have been named to Texas Monthly's Top 50 BBQ Joints list, with Miller's Smokehouse in Belton, LJ's BBQ in Brenham, Rossler’s Blue Cord Barbecue in Harker Heights and Helberg Barbecue in Woodway recognized. Temple’s Pustka Family Barbecue earned an honorable mention—adding local flavor to the statewide list. KXXV
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Bell County judge ruled that Caysen Allison, who was convicted of criminally negligent homicide for the 2022 stabbing death of Joe Ramirez at Belton High School, now faces up to 10 years in prison due to a deadly weapon enhancement—his sentencing is set for June 16. KCEN-TV
