- ➤ Temple Fire and Rescue responded to two fires Monday morning as storms caused smoke to fill the attic spaces on Emerald Gate Dr and Meiomi Dr — in the second incident, five people and a pet were displaced. KXXV

- ➤ Texas Senate Bill 3 is headed to Gov. Abbott’s desk after a late Senate vote and will ban all THC products if signed, with the law set to take effect in September. Local hemp business owner Judy Corrigan said her family business may close—putting local jobs at risk and signaling a major change for an industry that earns over $8 billion. KCEN-TV
