- ➤ Bell County residents who think their property tax assessments are too high must file appeals by Thursday, May 15—residents should review their tax details to ensure they protest any errors. Temple Daily Telegram
- ➤ Texas cities, counties, transit systems and special-purpose taxing districts are set to receive $1.3 billion in sales tax allocations in May, as announced by state comptroller Glenn Hegar. The report also noted that most area cities are expected to see higher gains. Temple Daily Telegram
