  • Top cats from across the country competed Sunday afternoon at the Assembly Hall of the Cadence Bank Center in Belton as the annual show sought to crown the best feline.   • In central Texas, weather varied and rain was sparse, leaving stock tanks low and fields hurt by a recent freeze that reduced Bermuda grass—farmers say corn stands were mostly good while winter wheat was short and uneven and cotton planting started and will continue next week with livestock markets steady.  Temple Daily Telegram
