- ➤ Temple College asks voters to approve a $158M bond this May to build a science lab, tech center, expanded health facilities, and workforce training space—raising taxes about $4.40 per month for homeowners. Early voting is April 22–28 and polls open May 2 at the ISD Administration Building. KCEN-TV
- ➤ Three Temple High School culinary arts students competed in a state contest last month against 900 participants, demonstrating their kitchen skills and overcoming tough challenges. Temple Daily Telegram
