  • A Temple ISD elementary school student will compete in the qualifier for the Central Texas Spelling Bee Finals after scoring as one of only two students to pass Bell County's online test.  Killeen Daily Herald

  • Temple Parks and Recreation Department received four state awards from Texas Recreation and Park Society (TRAPS) for excellence in park stewardship, maintenance, programming and professional development.  Temple Daily Telegram
