- ➤ Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson overcame early hardships and homelessness to fulfill his childhood promise of practicing law, and he now inspires community youth during Black History Month with school visits and personal mentorship (a powerful story of hope). KCEN-TV
- ➤ Texas AG Commissioner Sid Miller warns Temple residents not to plant mystery seeds from China (over 1,500 reports since last February) as they could harm local crops and may be linked to Temu; he advises calling 1-800-TELL-TDA for safe pickup. KXXV
- ➤ A week after new SNAP rules took effect, Temple families face stricter work or volunteer requirements to keep benefits as local residents set up home food pantries to support those affected by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
