- ➤ Ferguson Park (1203 E. Adams Ave.) and Jones Park (1102 W. Ave. H) will receive updates; Ferguson Park gets a new playground with a ninja-style fitness area by spring while Jones Park undergoes renovations with new restrooms, picnic shelters and a pavilion over the next six months. KXXV
- ➤ Texas A&M University-Central Texas is offering free tax preparation services for local residents earning $69,000 or less, those with disabilities, or who have limited English proficiency through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (appointments begin Feb. 18 in Founders Hall, Room 313).
