- ➤ Temple College celebrated its centennial with a ribbon cutting for the new main building on Friday. Former President Glenda Barron attended the event as community members joined the milestone celebration. Killeen Daily Herald
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters at Fort Hood fought wildland fires that burned nearly 1,000 acres and led to all training ranges being closed. Air and ground crews battled a blaze on the west side and in the Sugar Loaf area, with containment between 75% and 90% as officials continue monitoring conditions. KCEN-TV
