- ➤ Temple and Belton mayors will host the C.A.R.E. Leadership Network New Year’s Community Annual Revival Service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18 at 156 E Central Ave; the public is invited to join in prayer during the event. Killeen Daily Herald
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire damaged the Panda Express on W Adams Avenue Thursday morning, and crews put out the flames in about ten minutes & all employees were safe; the restaurant will remain closed until repairs are made. KXXV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Temple High School junior Emma Hamer-Kilber will have her art ‘Harlequin’s Proposal’ shown at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin throughout March as part of the TAEA Youth Art Month Exhibition; it is the first TISD student work selected for this statewide event (school announcement).
