- ➤ Paetyn Beckendorf, also known as Miss SPJST, is fighting hunger in Temple by collecting donations for Churches Touching Lives for Christ. She began this work after leaving school and will continue to assist families in need throughout the year. Killeen Daily Herald

- ➤ SunRISE Center at 501 S. Third St. in Temple is offering free classes and support groups focused on mental health & addiction recovery. The nonprofit plans to provide healing and community support throughout 2026. Temple Daily Telegram
